1. Eagles have really great vision.  And by really great I mean four to five times better than human vision. They can have eyes equally as large as ours, and their eyes can sometimes take up almost half of their head. One of the advantages they have on us is that eagles can detect five basic colors, while humans can only detect three. The reason for this is that eagles have one million cones per square millimetre versus our two-hundred thousand. They can also detect some UV light which helps them track their prey by enabling them to see an animals urine trail. In addition to all of this their eyes are also angled thirty degrees away from the center of their face which gives them a large field of view. 2. Coral reefs are home to lots of young marine life.   1. Sometimes cherry trees don't actually produce cherries. There are quite a few varieties of cherry trees that are purely ornamental, and will never produce edible fruit. So if you see a flowering cherry tree picking cherries won't be possible. You can still find edible things on these trees however. The blossoms as well as the leaves are actually edible, and are staples in traditional Japanese sweets and tea. Beware that you don't pick off any leaves in Washington DC though, it's considered vandalism of federal property there, and could lead to your arrest and at the very least a citation. 2. Groundhogs are like furry little architects. It might be fair to say that groundhogs have some the most impressive homes in the animal kingdom. These guys are very meticulous when it comes to the design and upkeep of their homes, and this might be the reason that many animals will take over their burrows after the groundhogs have moved on, and sometimes even while the groundhog

Facts About the Cast of Bridgerton

 I recently binged Bridgerton for the first time, and certainly not for the last. I can only really say that I loved it and I was in love with all of the characters, because I refuse to give spoilers. 😉 But I thought it could be fun to write a post featuring some facts about the amazing actors and actresses that contributed to the show. Let's start out with a few facts about the Duke of Hastings himself,  Regé Jean-Page .  1. Born in the UK, he grew up in Zimbabwe before moving back to London in his teens for schooling. 2. During his teen years he and his brother formed a punk band, and to complete the faze Reg é used to dye his hair various colors. His most frequent choices were blue, green, and purple. 3. He attended Drama Centre London, where many famous actors and actresses before him had studied. Some of the famous students on that list include, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Emilia Clarke.
